My weakness...

***I wrote this at 2am MONDAY MORNING... Guess this is another thing I can add to my "gotta figure draft thing out" on my list. Have a sweet Monday ladies....
Some people love chocolate.... why cant I be normal? Why cant I crave something good to eat or drink or even wear for heaven's sake... Oh no, that would be just too easy. Instead I have to shop here..
Do you want to know my weakness? It's fringe and fluff stuff. One of my favorite stores is P.Tree Textiles in Baton Rouge. I try to stay out of there as much as possible but sometimes I just have to give in to my temptation. I met the sweetest lady there.. I would have taken a picture of her but I would like to return and shop without her thinking I was a total freak. You know what Im talking about ladies.. Do yall have a hard time going anywhere without your camera now? Like who really wants to see what groceries I bought..

I just cant help myself.. I have to show all of you what my indulgence is...

You may be thinking what in the world...

Who could resist this stuff. Just look at her sweet little pom pom self....

And look at this yummy brown sweetness... who needs chocolate when they can have this...Now that I have a new friend at the store and all of this sweet stuff... my little head is justa spinnin'. I cant wait to get my hands on this and create some new tassels for all of you to see..

  1. I totally get it! I work at HL so every day for me is like being in a kid in a candy store! My boss says I need to be sent to craft rehab! I have a nice little stash of fabric and trims too, hard to resist them when you can buy with an employee discount, lol So befriend the girls who work there! You never know when they might share some insider info that will save you some money or snag you a trim before it hits the shelves! lol Love your tassels and your trims! Gorgeous!

  3. I get it! All that sweetness is so tempting. I think that's part of the reason I like to make old things new again...so I have a reason to buy all of those little treasures!

And I think that chocolate brown fringe is the same stuff I used on my piano bench. Love it!
