I had to sneak to catch this glorious momment. If she would have caught me! It would be just a tragedy if one of her friends knew she reads...

I have had a bit of a sore throat so it's been kind of quiet here with not much going on

Drake's even a bit bored and no thats not a growl it's a yawn...

I thought about just getting a good book and joining Kaylee but yall are just so much fun I had to see what you were up too. Tommorow I will be back in the swing of things and ready to roll. Hmmmm what can I get into....
:o) Sweet pictures! My kids were doing a lot of the same thing yesterday. We went to the library yesterday and they stocked up for the week. I don't mind forcing the light off on nights when they want to read!
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures! That is one of my favorite things to do too...curl up outside in the shade with a good book.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better.
Ooooooh!!! I can't believe I forgot to tell you!!! My tassel came yesterday! I love it! What a wonderful little surprise when the mail lady came.
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful and perfectly packaged. It's hanging on my china cupboard right now. Thank you so much!
Love it! Looks like it was a peaceful day at your house.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of her brings back memories of when I was younger..I would lay on our porch swing (never thought of grabbing a pillow) and read a book or flip through a magazine.
ReplyDeleteHope your get to feeling better. I hate sore throats.

I have done that very same thing, snapped a picture of my oldest reading because I though, "How often do I see that!" And Drake is adorabel! Love his bed!
ReplyDeleteLook at that porch swing your daughter is on--love it! I wish our porch was wide enough for a swing. Ours pretty much just is wide enough for my littles to park all their plastic vehicles and that is IT!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to see children voluntarily reading--definitely a moment worth photographing.

nice back yard!! and yay for books being read!! By the way, once our move is complete and we settle in a bit, I'll be placing an order for tassels!!
ReplyDeleteSusie, Great pictures! I love your daughter's name...Kaylee, pretty name! Pretty girl! The little yorkie is precious in his basket! Ours, Coco, just turned 2 this month, and learned that he can jump in a chair...or the couch....and sleep on my "good, just for looks" pillows! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon!
Hugs, Rhonda ;)
Susie, it has been raining alot here in OK (alot like everywhere else it seems) so I have had the opportunity to finish my latest Nicholas Sparks book The Choice it's a great one you need to put that one on your list. It amazes me how alike you, your sister, and your oldest daughter look alike, you guys are such cutie patuties. Smiles Paula
ReplyDeleteI love to catch my oldest reading as well. My youngest is still learning but seems to be doing good. I love the decorations on your blog, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat book is she reading? Maybe I could get my teen to read. Just maybe.
ReplyDeleteI do love it when I find my teenager reading. This is a great picture! I love lazy summer days when we have time to just sit with a book. -Julia
