    I love your mantle arrangements - each one has great style and balance. Terrific use for your thingamabob. I always am attracted to white groupings.

  9. Stunning! Simple and Sweet. I don't have a fireplace or else I'd be joining the party. We chose the 60" TV instead when building the house. But that is about to change because I found the most awsome mantle ($25) and I will have some one build me the base for it and I will have a Faux fireplace. Hopefully it won't be tacky.

    Our fireplace is dark...it's an 80's house. I don't know why everything was so dark in these houses...anyways, your's is beautiful!

    I am going to be on the lookout for accessories to lighten the feel of mine in the summer.

    OH! I see you have a Royal Standard too! We have them here in B'ham. Aren't you in LA? I didn't realize they are a chain, but that is one of my favorite stores. I have one of those monogram trashcans in my bathroom. I posted about those last year when I went in there. Cool store!

  25. I just had to go look up Royal Standard & I see there are 3 in LA & one here in AL. We are SO lucky to have them. I haven't been in there since Christmas, so need to stop by. I love that store.

    I stopped by Pier 1 yesterday and saw a container of grass that looked very similar to the one you made. I checked the price---it was $30! I think yours is larger, so it would be worth even more. Isn't it great to save money by being creative!
