It's not red and it's not country...

Picture's just do not give this sweet loveseat it's glory. I know the pictures make it look like a big candy apple. (I could eat one of those right about now), anyway..It's a rusty red color in person and doesnt look as bold as the pictures. I think I will have to add another post to fit all the pictures in. It started out with the sassy little curtains above my sink. They even have a little bling on them. That was my first taste of color. I then found these plaid cuties that I hung in my dinning room. I know you must be screaming country by now but stay with me. I then found the loveseat. Now my silk drapes that took me about three weeks to make had to go. I found some plain Jane curtains at Wal-Mart that were just begging me to bring them home and add a little zing. That's just what I did. What do you think? I also found two pillows the same (rusty) red at Wal-Mart for 5 sweet dollars. Cant get better than that! The checked pillows on the two sofas I made a few day's ago. The fabric came from Hobby Lobby. Now ladies dont look too close yet. I didnt iron the drapes or hem them yet. I just couldnt wait to give you a peek. If you do look close you may just catch a peek at one of my dust bunnies dancing on my floor. I love Ballard Designs... you may have heard of it. Thats where I got some of my ideas. Their curtains on page 61 cost $79.95 a panel. Mine just under $20.00. If you have not seen Ballard Designs trust me and give them a visit. You wont be sorry. Hope you enjoyed! Susie

  5. I love the Loveseat and the plaid curtains. I don't think they look country at all. It looks very inviting, which is what I think a house should feel like.

  7. “You can see the techniques of the knit on this style; Bandage Dress one day we will videotape the process of how our pieces are made. Herve Leger sale They weave the base and then hand-apply everything else. And our fit is really key. Oktoberfest Dress These pieces are more like sweaters than anything else—they’re not cut-and-sew, Herve Leger Dresses they’re knits—and that’s why they fit so well. People are so surprised at how well Herve Leger fits, and I tell them it’s all about how the dresses are constructed.”And finally, we dress for what we love too. For what we just can’t resist. Lubov, a former dancer, is a big fan of movement, so for her that signals the fringe-trimmed bandage dress.
