Tommorow as well as today has started a flood of memories. My sweet brother Wesley was born 29 years ago. Wow the years just fly by so quickly. I remember the day and location that my Mom told me of his coming. To be honest I was not that happy. I was the baby. I thought I was doing a good job at it. Well here he came... Bald and chubby just like they should be. I of course gave up the role of the baby and proudly became his "mother hen". He made the perfect baby doll and was always up for playing dress up. Yes, I did sneak a dress on him a time or two. Not a day went by that my Sister and I did not keep track of him. Not always an easy task. As the years flew by we watched him grow into such a caring, giving, courageous man. I think the roles changed and we started learning from him. He took life by the tail and never let go. Many of my life's lesson's I have learned from him. Today I feel both blessed to have known him and sad to have lost him. He will always remain a huge part in my life. I miss him more than words can say. Happy Birthday Wesley. I love you......
Yes, he did teach us a thing or two or three didn't he ? He is smiling down at us because we are still celebrating his birthday..Plan on riding the Tower of Terror in his honor tomorrow, cause ya know I would NEVER get on that thing..LOL
